PEAK DESIGN BLACK SLIDE CAMERA STRAP SL-BK-3

No products found.

FEATURES

The first camera we want to talk about is the Peak Design slide strap. It's a black strap that has a lot of great features designed to give you control during your photography sets while helping protect your camera. First of all, it has an anchoring mechanism that locks your camera to the strap. This prevents it from any accidental falls. It also allows you to quickly attach and detach your camera. Another great aspect of the strap is that it has an adjustment system that lets you adjust the strap with ease.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

The strap is super high-quality. However, it does have metal pieces that can scratch your camera and lenses if you aren't careful about how you handle it.

NORDIC FLASH WATERPROOF CAMERA FLOAT

No products found.

FEATURES

This is a very unique camera strap that is designed to be used in water. Some people enjoy taking photos with their phones or other devices in or under water, and this strap helps keep your camera afloat in case you accidentally drop it. There isn't much to it except that it's a floaty with a wrist strap and tether for your camera. If you're into water photography, you may enjoy this one.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

The quality of the strap is great, and it works as it is expected to. It's also set at a decent price as well.

SCARF CAMERA STRAP WITH HIDDEN POCKET BY CAPTURING COUTURE

No products found.

FEATURES

This candidate for best camera straps is very similar to the previous one we looked at. It is designed to keep your camera attached to you in water and will float if you somehow drop it.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

This one works just as well as the Nordic does. We didn't have any complaints about it.

BESTTRENDY UNIVERSAL CAMERA NECK SHOULDER STRAP

No products found.

FEATURES

The BestTrendy camera strap lives up to its name–it's trendy. What makes it trendy are the 3 pattern options that are available. The leather part features patterns that are cutesy and definitely in style. If a plain colored strap doesn't do it for you, this one will. It also has a very reliable safety system that attaches firmly to your camera.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

The only real issue we found with this strap is that the stitching is not always well done on the straps. This could be a risk to your camera's safety if the strap completely breaks and drops your cam.

OP/TECH USA MIRRORLESS CAMERA STRAP

No products found.

FEATURES

What makes this one of the best camera straps is its buckling mechanism that makes it easy to take off. Having to lift your strap and camera above your head can be dangerous and isn't necessarily the best way to take it off. This strap solves that problem. Also, it is padded on the main portion of the strap for maximum comfort, ensuring that you don't get tired of wearing it.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

The strings that connect the strap to your camera are not necessarily the best material for the job. It will make you feel nervous at times, but overall it is still a good strap for the price.

CUSTOM SLR GLIDE ONE STRAP CAMERA STRAP SYSTEM

No products found.

FEATURES

This strap is meant for the professional who is looking for ease of use and comfort. There are several features that make it one of the best camera straps including its quick release system and anchoring pieces for securing the strap to your cam. These are meant to make sure your camera is protected at all times. In addition, the material it is made out of easily slides over your clothing, preventing it from jerking at your clothes.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

This is a super high-quality camera strap that you will love for its functionality. It might not be a pretty strap, but it holds your camera well and is a breeze to use. With functionality comes a high price, but it is worth it.

BLACKRAPID BREATHE CURVE CAMERA STRAP

No products found.

FEATURES

If you are paranoid about dropping your camera, this strap will be right up your alley. It provides comfort and safety with the included safety strap that fastens the strap to your neck. It also has a pair of metal clips to connect it to your camera. With a camera strap like this, you'll never have to worry about dropping your camera. But these extra features do come at a high price.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

If you're concerned about your camera's safety, this is a go-to strap. It's a little pricey, but it will calm your worries. And that's the most important part, right?

WATERPROOF CAMERA FLOAT STRAP BY MOKO

No products found.

FEATURES

There is no end to the number of floating straps that are out on the market right now, and here is another one that is made by MoKo. This one is very similar to the Nordic strap we previously observed, as it has a tether that connects to your camera with a wrist strap that is capable of floating. A bonus with the MoKo strap is that it comes in a pack of 2, meaning you can share the photography experience with your friends and family while you're out in the water. This little blue strap is sure to present lots of opportunities for fun and entertainment that you won't forget.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

We did find, however, that the string used to connect this strap to your camera is not at the same level of quality as the Nordic. For some, this could be a deal-breaker. For just a few more dollars, you could probably get something else more reliable.

ONA PRESIDIO CAMERA STRAP

No products found.

FEATURES

If you're looking for something high-class, you may really appreciate this strap. It is made of very fine leather and comes in 8 different colors. Some of those colors include black, antique brown, canvas, and grey. It's definitely a sight to see, and you can tell that it's expensive just by looking at it. The pieces of leather that connect it to your camera appear a lot more reliable than the strings which some straps use. That's definitely a big positive.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

This strap is stunningly beautiful, especially with all the colors you can pick from. Fans of leather will definitely love this one. This leather is a little thin, however. And, it's expensive, but definitely worth it in our opinion.

TAIWORLD WATERPROOF FLOATING CAMERA WRIST STRAP

No products found.

FEATURES

The last of the best camera straps we picked out is another waterproof one, this time made by Taiworld. Like the others, it fastens to your wrist and floats if you accidentally drop your camera in the water. One thing that is important to note is that this version of the waterproof strap is actually adjustable; whereas the Nordic and MoKo do not have a tightening system. This one has a chance of staying more secure on your wrist.

DESIGN QUALITY & VALUE

It's a great strap, and as we mentioned, it will tighten around your wrist to keep itself in place. That's definitely an advantage with this type of strap, and the price is not bad at all.

THE VERDICT

a man using a dslr camera with camera straps around his neck

Because we discussed both waterproof and regular photography straps, we decided to pick our favorite of each type. It's very unfair to compare the 2 types because they are so radically different. It's almost like comparing apples to oranges, right?

Our first selection was the ONA Presidio camera strap. It is simply gorgeous to look at, and we loved that there were so many color options for the leather. The strap just really stood out because it had a handmade feel as compared to other straps which are clearly from the factory line. Some of the weak strings on other straps and other pieces made us feel that, in the case of a broken strap, there was no room for error. The ONA strap is essentially made from one piece of leather and looks very sturdy. We rated this at a 4.5/5.

As far as waterproof straps, we liked the Taiworld more than the others since you can tighten it around your wrist. The others are more likely to fall off and float away if you aren't careful. That simple fact was enough for us to give the Taiworld a 4/5 rating.

These are just our opinions, and everyone has different opinions. A strap that works for one person may not work for another, but we believe these are the best camera straps available right now and great choices if you are in the market for one. In any case, have fun on your photography journey, and we hope you visit us again!
